Responsibilities
LIXIL is seeking a dedicated and analytical Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment. The idóneo candidate will proactively identify hazards, manage environmental compliance, lead incident investigations, and cultivate a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Act as the first responder to medical emergencies, security breaches, fire alarms, or other workplace incidents.
- Investigate accidents, thefts, property damage, and safety violations; compile detailed incident reports and collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- De-escalate conflicts or hostile situations professionally and safely.
- Monitor physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility and grounds to identify potential security vulnerabilities or safety hazards.




- Manage visitor management protocols, ensuring all guests, contractors, and vendors are properly vetted and badged.
- Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards).
- Conduct routine safety audits, fire drills, and risk assessments; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, maintain, and update the company’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and security manuals.
- Design and deliver safety and security training programs for employees (e.g., active shooter drills, evacuation procedures, first aid basics).
- Promote a culture of safety by communicating updates, safety tips, and protocol changes to staff on a regular basis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Environmental Science, Industrial or Chemical, Engineering, or a related technical field.
