To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Engineer located in Guadalajara, North.
Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, Automation role will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing automated systems in various mechanical and digital environments to help and improve processes, save costs, and achieve better outcomes of design, product, and processes, eliminating defects, errors, and problems with product, process, or software development.
What a typical day looks like:
- Engaging with customers and addressing internal project requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency with automation.
- Researching and designing automation technology.
- Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers and outputs.
- Developing tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended.
- Establishing monitoring and QA processes.
- Investigating defects or errors in the technology.
- Managing safety systems, motor controls, drives, communication systems, and human-machine interface (HMI).
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Senior background experience in automation engineering.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong experience in automotive industry.
- Experience in state of work development.
- Expertise in Bill of Materials (BoM) structuring.
- Strong focus on maintaining systems integrity.
- In-depth design knowledge.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aide
