The API Integration Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the connectivity and functionality of our software systems. This position involves designing, developing, and implementing APIs E2E (middleware & backed logic) that enable seamless communication between applications and services. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of API protocols and hands-on experience with integration tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. The API Integration Specialist will play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency in integration processes, contributing to the overall success of technology initiatives.
Main activities:
- Design, develop,



and maintain APIs and integration services to meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze integration needs
- Apply appropriate API styles and patterns (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC) and ensure consistent standards across services.
- Monitor API health and performance; troubleshoot incidents and implement root-cause fixes.
- Create and update technical documentation for API integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and, where applicable, clients/consumers of the APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (desirable)
