To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer – Power Electronics located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
This role is responsible for leading complex failure analysis activities on power electronics products (AC/DC, DC/DC, LLC topologies), driving root cause identification, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across NPI and high-volume manufacturing.
The position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, while developing diagnostic capabilities, processes,
and technical expertise at the site level.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead failure analysis activities for power electronics products, identifying electrical, component, design, and system-level failures.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCCA) to resolve complex production and field issues.
- Define and implement failure analysis methodologies, debug strategies, and diagnostic processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze test logs, CPK data, burn-in (BI) data, and reliability trends to identify systemic and recurring failures.
- Perform advanced debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality, and Repair teams to resolve technical issues and improve product robustness.
