Manufacturing Engineer I - SMT
Location: Amexhe, Guanajuato

Role Objective
Plan, define, and improve manufacturing processes and production sequences for electronic manufacturing, ensuring efficiency, robustness, compliance with quality standards, and readiness for serial production.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing methods for new and existing production processes.
- Plan and specify manufacturing sequences, work cycles, capacities, and required production equipment.
- Define and document process flows, operating instructions, and related production documentation.
- Support the procurement or internal manufacturing of operating and testing equipment.
- Participate in risk analysis using Process FMEA and implement improvement actions.
- Prepare, update, and manage production and quality documentation.
- Support pre‑series and series audits in manufacturing and quality.
- Plan and coordinate the preparation and validation of initial samples.
- Support change management activities (process changes, feasibility analysis, costing, timing).




- Apply basic Lean Manufacturing / OEE concepts to improve efficiency.
- Use basic knowledge of SMT processes (Ekra printing, Pick & Place, AOI, ICT, EOL) to support and document production processes.
- Interpret basic technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety and environmental regulations.

Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
- 2–3 years of previous experience in manufacturing or process engineering (electronics / SMT environments).
- Basic knowledge of SMT processes.
- Basic understanding of OEE and/or Lean Manufacturing.
- Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic interpretation of technical drawings.
