This is a Sr. Financial Analyst job description for positions that exist within each SBS team of the EMEA Regional Services Center in Mexico City. These SBS teams include, but are not limited to, Fixed Assets, General Accounting and Account Reconciliations. Sr. Analysts are responsible for handling a variety of high volume transactional financial activities and tasks within their teams that support operations in the region, generally with a higher degree of efficiency and effectiveness than Analysts and Jr. Analysts. Sr. Analysts also perform some leadership activities within their teams, as well as serve as initial point of escalation for issues related to both internal and external customers. All activities must be performed in accordance with a tight system of internal controls.

Location: Mexico City - Polanco
1. Perform transactional processes accurately and timely within the particular SBS team into which the incumbent is assigned (Fixed Assets, General accounting, and Account reconciliations, etc.
- Review activity in construction in process accounts
- Capitalize fixed asset items according to company policy
- Setup intangible assets in the Fixed Assets module to facilitate amortization
- Prepare standard recurring journal entries
- Prepare bank and account reconciliations, ensuring that these are timely and accurate, upload into OneStream
- Monitor all outstanding items on a daily basis.
- Sending out letters contacting various sources to resolve any outstanding issues.
- Thoroughly document any actions taken regarding missing deposits, missing checks, under / over deposits, debit, and credit memos, etc.
- Create journal vouchers in a timely manner for re
