Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Application Support Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications running on Microsoft Azure. The idóneo candidate will have strong expertise in Azure monitoring, incident management, performance tuning, and production support, with the ability to work in a 24/7 follow-the-sun support model.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability using Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
- Act as the first line of defense for production incidents, service disruptions, and outages.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks across web applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure components.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
- Optimize application performance through caching improvements, database query tuning, and API routing enhancements.
- Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards, alerts, and operational runbooks.




- Automate routine maintenance tasks and self-healing processes using scripting and automation tools.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support critical production environments.

Required Technical Skills
- Azure Cache for Redis

Monitoring & Observability
- Expert-level experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Strong expertise in Log Analytics
- Application performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Incident management and root cause analysis

Automation & Scripting
- Experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Automation of operational and maintenance activities

AI & Analytics
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry (formerly Azure Machine Learning / Foundry tools)

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Azure Application Support, Production Support, Cloud Operations, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
