Electromechanical Design Engineer for Air Circuit Breakers is responsible for the design on projects for offer evolution, maintenance and optimization for Air Circuit Breaker offer. This role contributes to business continuity, cost optimization, product robustness, and manufacturability improvements.

The position requires strong technical autonomy, advanced electromechanical design capability, CAD proficiency, GD&T;, design-to-cost mindset and critical thinking. The design engineer will work with offer management, manufacturing, quality, industrialization, procurement, testing, certification, and project teams to deliver innovative, reliable, manufacturable, and standards-compliant solutions.

- Support the maintenance of the existing ACB offer from a technical perspective.
- Participate and provide engineering guidance to product evolution projects.
- Support the continuous engineer in the technical ownership on the ACB offer.
- Support root cause analysis for field and manufacturing issues.

Electromechanical Design and Optimization
- Design and optimize mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, including mechanism, current carrying parts, electrical contacts, barriers, mounting systems, and related components.
- Apply CAD, GD&T;, tolerance analysis, material selection, surface treatment, design-for-manufacturing, and design-for-assembly principles.
- Balance trade-offs between cost, performance, reliability, manufacturability, safety, compliance, installation efficiency, and customer value.
