Scope / Purpose Of Position
- The Application Database Developer is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining database objects that directly support application functionality. The role acts as a link between application development and database administration, ensuring that data‑intensive components are performant, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.



Partner with application owners/teams to understand application and business needs and SLO.

Roles And Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, etc.
- Work closely with application developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders.
- Deliver high‑quality database solutions that enhance application performance, enable efficient data access and support enterprise‑wide reliability.
- Provide off‑hours support when required for critical production issues.
- Perform database objects performance reviews as per customer needs.
- Use database expertise and leadership experience to identify and drive improvement efforts related to our database portfolio.
- Participate in the Change Advisory Board and provide guidance and governance on database changes. Resolve complex issues including root cause analysis and outline resolution options.
