Position Overview

The Maintenance Engineer provides technical leadership for the maintenance organization, ensuring equipment reliability, asset performance, and operational uptime. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role leads a team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Utilities Technicians while driving maintenance execution, troubleshooting, reliability initiatives, continuous improvement, and support for capital projects, equipment installation, and commissioning. The position works closely with Production, Engineering,



Maintenance Planning, and Controls Engineering teams to optimize plant performance.

Primary Responsibilities
Maintenance Leadership & Execution
- Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance team of approximately 12 technicians.
- Establish daily maintenance priorities to support production and operational goals.
- Ensure safe and effective execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production and Operations teams.

Reliability & Technical Support
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical equipment and utility systems.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex maintenance issues.
- Lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and implement corrective actions.
- Develop maintenance standards, procedures, and reliability improvement initiatives.
