Amentum is seeking aTennis Instructorto support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. TheTennis Instructoris responsible for providing professional tennis lessons, ensuring high-quality instruction to participants, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The instructor will work closely with individuals or groups to improve their tennis skills, techniques, and overall performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct20 hours of tennis lessons per weekfor individuals and groups, catering to different skill levels and ages.
- Teach tennis fundamentals, techniques, strategies,



and rules to participants of beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
- Provide personalized coaching to help participants improve their tennis skills, including serving, volleying, footwork, and match strategies.
- Organize practice drills, matches, and conditioning exercises tailored to enhance overall game performance.
- Ensure tennis courts, nets, and equipment are maintained in good condition and meet safety and performance standards.
- Distribute and maintain tennis equipment, such as racquets, balls, and practice aids, for instructional sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans and organize the tennis facility for lessons as needed.
- Interact professionally and courteously with participants, provide feedback, answer questions, and address concerns promptly.
