Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator will serve as the Government Property Site Manager within the GAM division. In this role, the individual is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. Government Property regulations, specifically FAR 52.245-1, while overseeing the full lifecycle management of government-owned property. This includes receipt, inventory, storage, issuance, utilization, and shipment activities. Working under general supervision,
the role requires applying foundational knowledge of government property compliance and contributing to continuous improvement through metrics analysis and self-assessments. The position supports operational excellence by partnering with site custodians and coordinators to maintain compliance and drive accountability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the site’s Government Property Site Manager (GOPS20) within the GAM division
- Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 across all aspects of government property management
- Manage the full lifecycle of U.S. Government property, including receipt, inventory, storage, issuance, utilization, and shipment
- Conduct metrics tracking and perform regular self‑assessments to evaluate compliance and identify improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Government Property Custodians and Coordinators to ensure proper processes and controls are maintained
- Analyze issues and recommend solutions using standard procedures and compliance guidelines
