As Engineering Manager at Molex Guadalajara (DSS division), you will lead and transform a high-performing engineering team, driving strategic projects and technical solutions that meet business objectives. You’ll work closely with internal teams (R&D;, Production, Quality, Supply Chain), external vendors, and cross-functional partners. The team is committed to continuous improvement, technical excellence, and developing talent through training and transformation.
What You Will Do




- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams and indirect functional groups to deliver innovative solutions and process improvements.
- Manage engineering projects end-to-end, including NPI/PLUS, new process development, machinery qualification, and project startups from scratch.
- Analyze and optimize capex and opex, forecast needs, and drive reductions in cycle times.
- Oversee process characterization, apply statistical models, and influence process improvements.
- Train and develop team members, including superintendents and supervisors, fostering a culture of transformation and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely project execution.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong experience with business/client lines,
