while minimizing quality risks and field failures.
What a typical day looks like:
- Define, implement, and control critical repair processes for electronic assemblies (PCBAs) across SMT, ICT, backend, and functional test operations.
- Perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, RCA, Ishikawa (Fishbone), Pareto Analysis, and Process FMEA.
- Establish repair criteria and rework limits in accordance with IPC standards and customer‑specific requirements.
- Validate repair equipment, tools, thermal profiles, and repair methodologies to ensure process effectiveness and product reliability.
- Provide technical support to Production, Quality, NPI, and Test Engineering during line stoppages, quality escapes, and critical manufacturing events.
- Ensure full traceability of critical repairs within the manufacturing execution system.
