Summary
The Shop Floor Planner for the Coiling Department is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure efficient operations and on‑time delivery. This role serves as the critical link between production demands and manufacturing execution,



optimizing resource utilization while maintaining quality standards. The Shop Floor Planner develops production schedules, coordinates material flow, balances capacity with demand, and collaborates across departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for the coiling department to meet customer demand and delivery commitments
- Coordinate material flow and ensure raw materials are available to meet production requirements without disruption
- Balance production capacity with customer demand and delivery commitments to optimize throughput and resource utilization
- Adjust schedules in real‑time to accommodate priority changes, equipment issues, or material shortages while minimizing customer impact
- Monitor work‑in‑progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels
