Serves as a key cross-functional partner to purchasing, planning, receiving, and logistics teams, driving issue resolution, order execution, and procurement accuracy while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, mitigate risk, and strengthen supply chain performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage supplier communication for open orders, delivery dates, confirmations, and issue resolutionBuild strong supplier relationships through consistent follow-up and professional communicationExpedite purchase orders and identify delayed, at-risk, or short-shipped itemsTrack supplier performance, including on-time delivery, responsiveness, and order accuracyOwn resolution of supplier issues related to late shipments, discrepancies, quality concerns, and incomplete deliveriesCoordinate inbound logistics, including shipment tracking, freight updates, and delivery confirmationsMaintain accurate records of purchase orders, confirmations, receipts, shipping documents,
and supplier correspondencePerform clerical and administrative tasks supporting purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teamsUpdate ERP and procurement systems with order, shipment, and delivery informationPrepare reports on open orders, overdue items, shipment status, and supplier performanceHelp ensure timely delivery of materials needed for operations and customer commitmentsCoordinate with planning, inventory, engineering, quality, receiving, and accounting teams to support operational needsResolve invoice discrepancies, shipment issues, and purchase order variances with suppliers and internal stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement efforts to streamline procurement processes, improve supplier performance, reduce lead times, and increase efficiency.Qualifications1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or materials supportStrong organizational, communication, and follow-up skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work effectively with suppliers, freight providers, and internal teamsExperience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially ExcelAbility to read and interpret basic technical documents such as purchase specifications, drawings, or material requirementsBasic understanding of inventory control, purchasing and materials planningUnderstanding of lead times, long-lead items, and supply risk for engineered partsFluency in spoken and written English is requiredPreferred SkillsExperience expediting orders in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with logistics coordination, shipping documents, and freight trackingExperience monitoring supplier performance and driving follow-up actionExposure to engineering change management, material traceability, or quality documentationKnowledge of quality requirements, certifications, and traceability documentsAbility to support technically complex purchased items or custom components#J-*****-Ljbffr
