Your RoleCapgemini is seeking a Mid-Level SAP Basis Consultant with 5-7 years of experience in SAP system administration and technical support.
This role is responsible for maintaining the stability, availability, performance, and security of SAP landscapes while supporting operational activities, system upgrades, migrations, and SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) environments.
The consultant is expected to work independently on standard Basis activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable SAP operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support SAP environments includingECC, S/4 HANA, BW, PI/PO, Fiori, and Net Weaver.
Execute SAP Basis operational activities such assystem monitoring, troubleshooting, performance analysis, client administration, transport management, and printer administration.
Performkernel upgrades, support package implementations, system copies, refreshes, and migration activities.
Monitor and maintainSAP SLT replication scenarios , ensuring data consistency and optimal performance.
Support incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with service delivery standards.
Assist in High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and business continuity initiatives.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and application teams to resolve technical issues and support project implementations.
Participate in system audits, compliance reviews, and security remediation activities.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures,



and knowledge-sharing materials.
Your Profile5-7 years of SAP Basis administration experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes.
Strong understanding ofSAP Net Weaver architecture , SAP system administration, and Basis best practices.
Hands-on experience withSAP SLT configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and replication support.
Experience supportingSAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANAenvironments.
Exposure toupgrades, migrations, Unicode conversions, and system copy/refresh projects.
Knowledge ofSAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher, and SAProuter.
Familiarity withLinux and Windowsoperating systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
