Within this program, we also offer function‐specific technical training and on‐the‐job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands‐on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.As a Buyer, Help Power a Stronger Supply ChainAddress all aspects of category management, including supplier management, supplier identification and selection, support category business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availabilityCoordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, business units, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory and services in a cost effective and timely mannerProcess purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliersPerform cost analysis and volume planning for major categoriesMonitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned contracts to negotiate the highest quality at best valueDevelop new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitiveRecommend cost saving proposals including make‐versus‐buy analysis or alternative sourcingInteract closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issuesSupport internal and external audits related to procurement processes and supplier management assessment, pricing, and product availabilityMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,
