For our Technical Support Department in Querétaro, Mexico.Your tasksAs an Application Engineer your role will involve providing consultation on sheet metal forming and Body in White (Bi W) assembly processes within the automotive domain.
You will leverage your knowledge and hands-on experience with simulation software, including Auto Form, to support customers on technical matters while also driving strategic business development initiatives.
To excel in this role, you should be able to fulfil following requirements:
Hands-on experience on Auto Form software to optimize stamping, die design, formability, and Bi W assembly processes for automotive clients.
Deliver advanced training, workshops, and software demonstrations, both in-person and online.
Collaborate with sales on customer needs, pre-sales support, and strategic planning.
Contribute to software testing, installations, trade shows, blogs,



and general knowledge sharing.Your profileBachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years in sheet metal forming, Bi W assembly, FEA, die design, or related automotive fields.
Hands-on Auto Form experience required; other simulation tools can be considered.
Experienced in Stamping processes, Bi W assembly processes, hot forming, hemming, hydroforming, and quality assessments.
Strong communication, presentation, and business skills; CAD experience (e.g., CATIA, NX, GOM) preferred.
Willing to travel extensively in Mexico, with occasional international trips.
