About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Legal Analyst to join our legal team in Mexico Cty.
In this role, you will provide specialized legal support with a core focus on contracts, corporate governance, procurement, and regulatory matters for our Mexican operating entity (SOFOM).
Working closely with and reporting to the Legal Manager – Mexico, you will be key to driving compliance, mitigating risks, and safeguarding the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities: Draft, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with counterparties, vendors and business partners; Coordinate notary registrations and other formalization requirements for corporate and commercial documents in Mexico; Support the design, implementation and maintenance of internal policies and controls applicable to the Mexico operation, ensuring alignment with the regulatory framework applicable to SOFOMs; Monitor compliance with internal policies and controls, including periodic reviews and follow-up on remediation items; Review and manage procurement-related contracts and vendor agreements,
coordinating with the relevant business areas; Monitor and support compliance with the regulatory framework applicable to Sociedades Financieras de Objeto Múltiple (SOFOM), including the Ley General de Organizaciones y Actividades Auxiliares del Crédito (LGOAAC) and applicable CNBV and Banco de México provisions; Support CONDUSEF-related obligations, including registration of adhesion contracts (REDECO), fee and CAT (Costo Anual Total) disclosures, and reporting to the Buró de Entidades Financieras; Support anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (PLD/AML) compliance under the Ley Federal para la Prevención e Identificación de Operaciones con Recursos de Procedencia Ilícita (LFPIORPI), including filings with the Unidad de Inteligencia Financiera (UIF), in coordination with the Compliance Support the preparation of filings, registrations and authorizations required by Mexican regulators; Assist the Legal Manager – Mexico with corporate governance matters, including board and committee materials; Collaborate with other legal team members and business areas to ensure consistent legal support across jurisdictions; Assist in improving internal legal processes and documentation standards for the Mexico team.
Requirements and Qualifications: Mandatory Education: Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho), completed; 4-6 years years of experience; Advanced Spanish / Advanced English is required; Previous experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, ideally supporting SOFOMs, banks, fintechs or other regulated financial entities; Experience with corporate governance, contracts and regulatory compliance matters, including familiarity with the SOFOM regulatory framework (LGOAAC, CONDUSEF, CNBV) and PLD/AML obligations under the LFPIORPI.
