The Position
This role is designated as match day–only and includes participation in a select number of required training sessions scheduled ahead of the tournament. Reporting organizationally to the Sustainability & Human Rights Venue Manager, the Safeguarding & Anti-Discrimination Stadium Manager (SAM) will be assigned to a specific FWC26 Venue (Stadium) to assist with delivery of safeguarding,



anti‑discrimination and inclusion activities on all matchdays at this stadium during the tournament.

This role will act as the consistent central point of contact and be responsible for venue specific implementation of safeguarding, anti‑discrimination and inclusion matters on match days in line with the strategy, policy and procedures at the FWC26 to ensure a safe football experience for everyone.

Main responsibilities of the SAM at each venue, for the FWC26 include:
- Serve as the lead contact for safeguarding and anti‑discrimination inclusion matters across the designated stadium across all match days.
- On matchdays, support a small group of volunteers in performing duties designated by the Sustainability and Human Rights Venue Manager and report back on all activities at the end of shift.
- On match day, liaise with stadium security, fan operations, CARE Team, SVM and SHR central team to respond and assist with resolution of issues or complaints relate
