Financial Analyst, Tax US & Canada

Please notice that this is a ten-month temporary role.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Financial Analyst you will:
- Gather the appropriate information for the taxes to be calculated.
- Submit tax returns (preferable for US and Canada).
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Approve journal entries.
- Open items reporting, follow-up and escalation with various departments.
- Perform month responsibilities with a complete understanding of the tax and reconciliation process and the financial framework within an SAP environment to achieve complete, accurate and compliant tax returns and / or financial statements.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with partnering organizations by providing regular and frequent communications.




- Assist in monthly financial reporting; prepare analysis of accounts as requested.
- Assist in projects on process improvements from a tax perspective.
- Provide training to other team members.

About You
You're a fit for this role if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, OR equivalent qualification OR significant development after specialized vocational training OR substantial professional development after High School Degree.
- Advanced English proficiency is required both written and spoken. Candidates will be tested before setting up the first interview.
- Previous experience in US & Canada taxes is preferred.
- At least 1-3 years of professional accounting experience with multi-national companies.
- Knowledge of common accounting procedures.
