_**Responsabilities**:_
Responsible for the managing the day to day plant production operations. Responsibilities include:
- Direct and manage plant operations for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Coordinate plant activities to ensure the manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Monitor overall plant performance for safety, production and quality standards.
- Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Maintains preventative maintenance programs.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel (5S).
- Responsible for overall employee performance issues and systems.
- Maintains quality and safety programs and policies as administered by corporate.
- Plans and apportions production resources to accomplish the plants goals. This includes preparation of short and long-term asset utilization as well as production goals and delivery deadlines.
- Drive improvements in plant operations, manufacturing processes and procedures leading to productivity and efficiency gains.
- **Requirements**:_
- BA or BS Degree with a strong preference in engineering.




- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a management/leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
- Ability to manage, train, and coach people effectively in a changing environment.
- Must be oriented to process and improvement with a strong bias to results.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong operations experience and demonstrated ability to run a manufacturing operation.
- Exceptional leadership skills, high energy level, and maturity as a leader and motivator.
- Demonstrated capability to holding others accountable and rewarding outstanding efforts of team members at all levels.
- Handle multiple concurrent tasks with competing priorities.
- Microsoft office programs including MS-Excel, MS Word, and MS Power-Point, MS Access or comparable programs.
- High ethical standards demonstrated personally and shared/expected as the tone for the entire organization.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
