**SDET/QA AUTOMATION**

**Responsibilities**:
You will be integrated in a team of ~120+ people working in two locations (Phoenix, USA and Ontario, Canada) using modern Agile software development methodologies for a large US insurance company. Key daily tasks may include:
- Co-design and develop software to support roll out of next-gen insurance products.
- Collaborate in a cross-functional environment (develop, test, integrations).
- Challenge conventional software delivery norms (continue to drive and improve upon Agile best practices).
- Enhance the core platform to support emergent digital technologies.
**Requirements**:
- **Have strong experience in Automation testing**:
- **Self-Starter**:
- **Excellent communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative environment**:
- **Self-motivated, highly driven**:
- **Agile/Scrum experienced**:
- **Understands OOP and has experience with OOP test development and Data Driven test development**:
- **Strong understanding of REST API Request/Response transactions**:
- **Experience with Java 8, plus if Java 11 fluent**:




- Strong programming/scripting experience
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins experience preferred)
- Experience writing SQL queries (Oracle DB experience preferred)
- Experience with JIRA, GIT and Bitbucket
- Bachelor's Degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- English proficiency
- Valid work permit for US or Canada
- Remote work location in US or Canada
**Desirable Experience**:
- Banking, Financial or Insurance industry experience
- 2-3+ years of experience with web-services testing (Rest/SOAP/RestAssured)
- Experience with TestNG, Maven SureFire
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience with Bash command line
**Other Skills**:
- Technical background is a major plus
- EIS or Guidewire experience
- Insurance or Financial industry experience
