Overview
Responsible for the Industrial Engineering Department. In his role, he must ensure the production capacity, quality capacity and reliability of the processes of equipment, tools and methods, to deliver the production volume safely, with the highest quality standard and the lowest cost to the Juárez vehicle assembly line.
Experience and education
Professional career related to the field of engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, mechatronics, etc.)
3 years of experience in a similar position and/or in management positions.
Knowledge, Skills and Certifications
Bilingual 80% (English and Spanish), both oral and written
Experience in the design of pneumatic, electronic and mechanical tools and equipment
Ergonomics method and knowledge methods of time study
Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (7 wastes, SMED, Poka-Yoke, OPF, etc.)
Microsoft Office software skills, AutoCAD, SAP knowledge
Knowledge about STPP NOMS-06, NOMS-26, NOMS-27, NOMS-36
Ergonomic methods (NIOSH, RULA, REBA, Suzanne Rodgers)
Lean Tools (Standard Work, Kaizen, Kanban, SS, Poka-yoke, One Piece Flow, Model Mix)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Supervise new product development (NPD) activities for vehicle assembly
Plan and execute industrial engineering activities focused on safety, quality, reliability and productivity improvements, using lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
Orientation of the team to carry out security-related activities
Show leadership and commitment to establish, maintain and improve the quality management system.
Promote continuous improvement and customer focus
Establish the quality policy, objectives and provide all necessary resources to maintain the QMS.
Support existing operations and products in terms of methods,



tools and equipment while developing a culture of lean manufacturing and customer service within your team.
Prepare and control the department's budget in terms of operating expenses (OPEX) and acquisition of equipment and tools (CAPEX) with a strong focus on asset management best practices.
Any other duty or responsibility assigned to you by your superior.
Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) determined for your function in relation to ISO9001:2015.
Comply with the safety rules determined according to your function.
Complete planned training related to Quality and Training on time.
Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
