About the Role

The Associate Manager, Carrier Management & Procurement is responsible for leading strategic initiatives across carrier management, procurement, and transportation operations for Mexico and Cross‑Border. This role ensures carrier performance, develops strategic supplier relationships, drives sourcing initiatives, and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and support business growth. The position requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Serve as the primary escalation point for carrier integrations, invoicing, and payment‑related issues.
- Manage carrier onboarding and system connectivity through Carrier Portal, Macropoint, EDI, and API integrations.
- Monitor carrier KPIs, including Check Call Compliance, On‑Time Pickup (OTP), On‑Time Delivery (OTD), and Timeliness.




- Develop dashboards and performance reports to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
- Develop and expand a strategic carrier network across Mexico and Cross‑Border operations.
- Lead carrier sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier selection processes.
- Analyze transportation market trends, carrier performance, and cost drivers to support sourcing strategies.
- Identify, execute, and monitor cost savings, network optimization, and procurement initiatives.
- Build long‑term strategic partnerships with carriers through supplier development and performance reviews.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members while fostering a high‑performance and collaborative culture.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing operational priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Travel to the United States as needed to strengthen carrier relationships and support business objectives.
