What you’ll do
- Assist the Group Head of Regulatory Treasury and Safeguarding in maintaining the general safeguarding framework, establishing globally consistent standards, ensuring ongoing compliance with local regulations, and implementing best-in-class controls.
- Support the development of the wider regulatory treasury quality assurance and controls framework encompassing treasury related regulatory reporting as well as requirements on subjects like CRR, MiFID and EMIR.
- Assist with the regulatory treasury horizon scanning, rules to gap mapping for regulatory treasury subject matters and mapping of treasury risks across the treasury operations.
- Assist in the design of relevant policies and procedures and reviews of such documents as the business grows for new products and processes ensuring this meets all treasury regulatory and client money safeguarding requirements.
- Assist with annual internal or external audit delivery and remediation.
- Assist in the review of existing processes and procedural enhancements.
- Assist in the review of client regulatory treasury incidents controls and remediation.
- Work with various stakeholders across the business to effect change (Tech, Data Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit).
- Conduct risk assessments and establish appropriate risk-based controls including design of regular management information and metrics.
- Train stakeholders on the relevant regulatory treasury subject matters and maintain a culture of operational compliance.
What you’ll need
- Experience: over 5 years working in a legal or regulatory background. Compliance/ Internal Audit / External Audit / Controls Implementation / Safeguarding will be valued.
- Education: business or legal degree.
