CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC, is looking for a Backend Engineer with strong experience in Java-based systems and modern cloud technologies. This role focuses on building scalable and high-performance backend systems supporting Supply Chain and warehouse management platforms, leveraging microservices architecture, messaging systems, and cloud infrastructure, working with a Fortune 500 retail client.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems supporting Supply Chain services and warehouse management systems.
- Participate in design, architecture, and implementation of scalable software solutions solving complex problems.
- Define, scope, and estimate work items and technical deliverables.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Maintain high standards for system design and technical documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and DevOps.




- Implement and manage microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.

Core Skill Set / Experience Requirements
- 7+ years of professional hands‑on experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Experience with messaging/streaming platforms (Kafka preferred)
- Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tools (GitLab, GitHub, Terraform)
- Experience with test automation (Unit, Integration, Regression, Performance/Load testing)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (New Relic, Splunk)
- Experience supporting 24x7 on‑call e
