Our client, a leading European manufacturer of high-performance industrial components is seeking an entrepreneurial, technically accomplished Head of Technical Sales and Business Development to establish and lead its new Mexican subsidiary.

This strategic greenfield mandate requires a strong technical-commercial leader able to build the business from the ground up—developing the market, acquiring key customers, establishing the local organization and assuming full P&L; responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the Mexican subsidiary in alignment with the European headquarters.
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for Mexico.
- Drive new business and develop key accounts across automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and broader industrial sectors.
- Translate complex customer needs into technically and commercially compelling solutions.
- Build an effective after-sales structure covering technical support, spare parts and customer service.




- Assume full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, revenue and profitability.
- Recruit, lead and develop the local sales, service and administrative organization.

Profile Background:
- Technical degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven success in complex B2B sales, market development and key-account management.
- Greenfield, subsidiary build-up or comparable entrepreneurial experience is highly valued.
- Strong technical understanding of machinery, industrial equipment or engineered components.
- Adecuado previous track-record with P&L; responsibility and solid commercial judgment.
- Network within Mexico’s automotive or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous and hands-on leadership style.
- Experience within a European industrial SME is highly valued.
- Interculturally savvy, fluent Spanish and English.
