**Position Summary**:
The planner develops and maintains production build plan and material flow and manages the daily/weekly production schedule.
**Project Responsibilities/Duties**:
- Utilizes MRP tools and techniques as required to manage and plan whole unit or component material.
- Coordinates material flow and inventory management of material required to support production schedule and customer orders.
- May be required to prepare forecasts, manage Approved Vendor Lists, and coordinate material requirements with the Buyers.
- Develops production clear to build plan by analysis of customer required material requirements and delivers on-time performance commitments.
- Coordinates with Program Managers and/or Business Unit Managers for customer interaction related to materials planning.
- Maintains WIP, Backlog, Shortage, Forecast, and various other reports, as required, to support program materials planning and others that dependant of his planning duties.
**Education/Work Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics,



Procurement or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years’ experience of related experience in materials scheduling in a manufacturing/repair environment.
- Good skillset with MS Excel
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Outstanding interpersonal, written and communication skills required
- Ability to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, accountability, attention to detail and business acumen.
