We are currently looking for a seasoned **Automation Tester proficient in Java** to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be crucial in shaping and enhancing our emerging automation framework, contributing significantly to the formulation of our automated testing methodologies. This role demands a thorough comprehension of testing protocols, automation testing capabilities, and problem-solving skills to effectively aid in automating our system operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Implement automation for test cases in areas of regression, functional, and smoke testing
- Oversee automation tasks while upholding testing standards
- Employ innovative solutions in troubleshooting and rectifying system issues
- Execute automated testing for REST APIs and client interfaces
- Identify, document, and communicate defects
- Administer test data and test environments
- Keep track of versions of test scripts
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance expertise including at least 2+ years in test automation
- Competency in Jenkins, Git
- Proficiency in REST testing via REST Assured
- Background in Selenium or similar automation tools
- Capability to develop and manage automation scripts that meet acceptance criteria
- Expertise in agile methods
- Familiarity with the integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Qualifications in manual testing
- Exceptional organizational and analytical capacities
**Nice to have**
- Background in Cucumber
- Previous Java programming experience
- Skills in Jira, SQL, qTest
