We are seeking an experienced **Senior Business Analyst** to join our team.
This role involves a significant amount of data analysis in a vast enterprise Data Lake where raw data is ingested to create actionable insights. You will be working as the PO Proxy, collaborating closely with Data Engineers within an agile scrum team. Excellent communication skills are crucial, and a strong background in Azure and data-related technologies is highly desirable.
**Responsibilities**
- Work directly with raw data in a large-scale Data Lake
- Convert complex frameworks into practical mappings for implementation
- Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the scrum team
- Partner with Data Engineers to streamline data integration and extraction processes
- Ensure proper data governance and ownership throughout the project lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Assist in the design and maintenance of data systems and databases
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Keep abreast of industry trends and new technologies in data management
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst or related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Apache Hadoop, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
- Understanding of SQL and data types
- Familiarity with data governance principles
- Competency in business metadata handling
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Capability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

- Background in Data Governance initiatives
