**Position Title**:Consultant - Business Systems (OpenText Captiva)
**Location**: Mexico City (Onsite Presence Required)

**Position Summary**:
This role requires strong technical acumen, business analysis capabilities, and on-ground presence in **Mexico City** to ensure business continuity, provide face-to-face support, and uphold confidentiality standards when working with internal U.S. stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Analyze business workflows and document lifecycles to identify optimization and automation opportunities using OpenText Captiva.
- Design and implement intelligent document capture solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex Captiva-related issues, ensuring accuracy, system integrity, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end-users and internal IT teams.
- Present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise terms.
- Maintain hands-on presence in Mexico City to support business continuity and rapid response.
- Integrate Captiva with downstream platforms like IBM FileNet, BPM, and cloud-based services.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of **5+ years of hands-on experience** with OpenText Captiva (design, development, and implementation).
- Proven experience in **OCR/ICR technologies**, intelligent automation, and document classification techniques.
- Proficiency in **.NET, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot**, and scripting languages.
- Strong experience with **SQL/PostgreSQL**, API development, and RESTful services.
- Solid understanding of **cloud environments** (GCP and/or AWS).
- Experience in deploying solutions in **containerized environments** using **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
- Hands-on experience with **WebSphere, WebLogic, or Tomcat** servers.
- Familiarity with **DevOps tools** including Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of **Linux (RHEL), Shell scripting**, and enterprise-level infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused consulting approach.
- **OpenText Captiva certification** preferred.
**Preferred Skills & Additional Experience**:
- Experience with IBM **FileNet**, **Datacap**, **P8**, and BPM platforms.
- Exposure to **Dropbox (CORDIS & CMBCA), HPII/IAW**, and **Funds Transfer systems**.
- Knowledge of AI integration, workflow automation, and trade processing systems.
- Familiarity with working in **Agile methodologies** within large enterprise environments.
- Experience collaborating with **third-party vendors** and managing complex IT engagements.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per month
