THIS JOB IS FOR SPANISH TEACHERS ONLY PLEASE.
**Schedule: Various schedules available (morning classes for 2 hours, afternoon classes for 2 hours, and evening classes for 2 hours)**
**Contract length -** 6-8 months per employee or spouse. Employees and their families will be moving to this location and each employee and spouse would like to learn the basics of Spanish to either 1) be able to talk with coworkers or 2) be able to make friends and get around this area as easily as possible in terms of communicating in Spanish.
THIS CONTRACT COULD CONTINUE OVER A YEAR LONG.
Many online job opportunities would also come with this placement, as we have other clients learning online throughout the world.
**WHO ARE WE?**

We not only teach our students Spanish through relevant, interesting conversation (as we all learned our first language!), but we motivate them to keep learning by communicating with others in the community, and trying new ways to learn that truly boost fluency like TV and making friends. We also give highly customized lessons based on client's job and interests.
For this client Fluency Corp (the management teach) will
- have an intake meeting with the client to understand their goals and exact schedule they need (matching them with a coach)
- match the coach to an employee or partner, and send the coach the intake meeting details
- support you, the coach, throughout the process
- supply coach with books or materials they request based on the employee or spouse's needs (we can also suggest the books and materials we love working with)
- provide a complete Spanish curriculum called Vista Higher Learning,



but this must be adapted to the conversations the employee or spouse will be having on a daily basis (which is not found in the book). Coach must not rely solely on the book.
You (the coach) will
- ensure they are speaking in class as much as possible (role play!), since they all need to SPEAK and communicate in daily life.
- not focus on grammar lessons but more practical lessons and real work usage (grammar as needed, but we know that grammar knowledge does not mean they can speak or understand the spoken word)
- ensure employees gain confidence and higher fluency for the specific conversations they need to have at work or in life
- bring a lot of energy and fun to classes
- make sure to support the employee or spouse in terms of psychologically assisting them with moving to a new country (ask them if they'd like suggestions on where to get a good coffee, or something they miss from home, where expats are if they miss that community, or where to practice more Spanish, the library, etc).
We are serious about our jobs and care deeply about our students.
**You must**:
- have 5+ years teaching SPANISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE - SPECIFICALLY to adults in a one on one setting. Bonus if you've worked specifically with adults relocating for their jobs.
- have experience being creative in helping them USE the language outside of class
- be able to fill out a goals form and quarterly progress reports
- fill out attendance form and timesheet PROMPTLY at the end of each class
- be always on time (preferably early)
