Advise the business units of the group of companies in all legal matters an independent and self-reliant manner following the framework of Utimaco group’s legal management
- Review and create contracts of all kinds, especially in IT law
- Negotiate contracts with customers and partners in LATAM and internationally, and evaluate their terms and conditions
- Assume responsibility for compliance with applicable laws and drafting and enforcing internal compliance policies
- Advise Utimaco group’s legal management of applicable and upcoming local laws and regulations
- Ensure legal control and advice in cross-divisional projects
- If required, occasionally travel to meet different teams and partners
- **Experience & Education**
- Experience as in-house lawyer
- A fully qualified lawyer and have at least 4-6 years of professional experience
- International environment or a commercial law firm experience




- Legal experience in IT law
- Knowledge of legal regimes in the LATAM region and respective business experience
**Skills & Abilities**
- Ability to familiarize yourself with unknown legal topics and complex, technical issues
- Ability to work independently and with a high degree of independence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of articulating complex concepts and solutions in Spanish and English
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with an international team in different locations
