**Key Responsibilities**:
- Developing technical optimization and business solutions for customer requirements in coordination with the line manager.
- Carry out constructive processing/modification of products and individual elements, prepare price enquiries and technical statements.
- Technical product responsibility.
- Compiling production times, if necessary, in close coordination with the production areas.
- Initiating the procurement of materials and services via requirement notifications.
- Document control for the customer's document center (standards).
- Implementation and documentation of change management.
- Production and prototyping support in project work (international).
- Creation of productrelated work instructions and production drawings
- Introduction of new components and support in processing technology with the relevant specialist departments.
- Planning and adapting test specifications.
- Approval of products, materials, design documents, drawings and nondesigncompliant products in coordination with the specialist department / customer.
- Purchasing, sales and development support.
- Customer support and customer visits.
- Technical support for new and existing projects.
- Developing, implementing and realizing Design To Cost (DTC) in the area of responsibility.
- Articulate market trends, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape and translate those into a report as a proposal.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, marketing, operations,



and customers to identify market trends and continuously improve product quality to ensure that our products provide value and meaningful experiences for our customers.
- Work effectively with global sales teams to build out and execute the sales strategy.
- Build collaborative relationships with customers, users, and stakeholders to understand their problems and communicate our solutions.
- Represent the product at trade shows; provide sales training and generate enthusiasm for the product.
- Travel (~20%) in a role that truly has integral impact.
**Job Requirements**:
- 3 years of Product Engineering/Management experience (ideally within cable and cable assembly business).
- Ability to translate customer wishes and market needs into an innovative product and action items for all developments.
- Experience with relevant design tools 2D/3D such as AutoCAD, Inventor or similar.
- Selfreliant working style that is flexible and resilient.
- Team oriented - ability to motivate and work well with diverse, crossfunctional teams.
- Very good computer skills with MS Office, especially with Excel.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English; German language a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a plus; however, our focus will be around experience.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare market either.
- Willingness to travel, part of the training will take place in Germany. Further details on the products will also be presented in Slovakia.
- Close cooperation with colleagues at HCBU, especially with the R&D; department in daytoday business
