**Job Purpose**
The M&E; Officer will provide support to the project by developing the M&E; strategy, ensuring that the project delivers the expected results and monitor and evaluate project performance.
**Competences**
- In depth knowledge in M&E; methods and approaches, including qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Participatory assessments and monitoring, data processing or analysis, facilitation, and M&E; design.
- Ability to produce quality reports and a solid understanding of rural development, with a focus on participatory processes, joint management, and gender issues.
- Must be willing to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholder.
- Proficient in MS Applications and the use of statistical software's (Power Bi, SPSS, etc.).




- Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Agricultural Economics, Developmental Studies, Business, Economics, or other relevant degree.
**Experience**
- At least 5 years’ M&E; experience in either NGO’s, Bank Funded project and Government Ministries.
