Company dedicated to the **manufacturing of bolts for internal combustion engines**, with more than **15 years of experience in the Mexican market**, is looking for a:
**New Programs Launch Engineer**
This position is responsible to support New Programs introduction, from Cost Estimates to proper APQP Process execution. This role requires proactive interaction with other departments to assure successful New programs implementation.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
- 2 years: Experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Strong organizational skills and capable of handling multiple and varied duties and responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- English (written & business conversations).
- Understand and be able to read CAD and part print.
- GD&T; knowledge
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with the workforce, suppliers and customers.
- Organized and efficient, with extensive multi-tasking and project management abilities
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Perform cost estimates for new program opportunities
- Develop smartsheets to monitore and coordinate execution of APQP process for new programs
- Create / Modify SAP configuration of BOM’s, Routings,



Material Masters for New and existing programs based on ECN’s
- Track and document program-related ECNs (Engineering Change Notices).
- Quote and process prototype parts.
- Partner with manufacturing and quality departments to identify and execute on opportunities to improve part quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify and execute on opportunities to eliminate waste in customer programs utilizing Lean principles and tools. Participate and/or lead Elimination of Waste Team meetings and projects.
- Participate in plant projects involving launch of new tooling and machinery.
- Support Piston Pin division and AAG goals and objectives through individual development planning and annual performance objectives.
