- **Position Overview**
- The **Jr. Production Control Planner** brings hands-on experience in production control within either **high-mix/low-volume** or **high-volume/low-mix**manufacturing environments. This role supports materials management, production line balancing, and capacity planning activities. The position is responsible for providing accurate reporting to Outset Medical’s management team regarding **production**
- **plan attainment**. It applies **Materials Management** and **APICS principles** to evaluate material flow, monitor inventory levels, and ensure alignment between production schedules and operational capacity.-
- **Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities**-
- Analyzes demand vs. capacity to identify and report potential gaps affecting production output.
- Utilizes multiple systems to collect and analyze data, including:
- **_ QAD (ERP system) - for production planning, work orders, inventory, and material flow._**
- **_ Tulip (Manufacturing Execution System - MES) - For real-time production tracking, operator inputs, and process visibility on the production floor._**-
- Performs Work Order (WO) variation analysis to understand discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
- Works directly with production floor teams, providing guidance and influence to help achieve daily/weekly production goals.
- Prepares and reports **weekly production attainment**, highlighting key drivers of performance and areas for improvement.




- Supports and participates in **continuous improvement initiatives** aimed at improving efficiency, reducing waste, and standardizing processes.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet tight deadlines through effective prioritization and problem-solving.
- Supports **additional operational and analytical activities** as needed.-
Experiência y requisitos- **Required Qualifications**- B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, IT, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to **support** cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, and IT.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain clear documentation, including specifications and procedures.
- Strong coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- English proficiency (written and verbal).-
- **Desired Qualifications**- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and presentation abilities.-
