**Purpose of the Position / Propósito del Puesto**
The **SQE Team Leader** is responsible for leading the Supplier Quality Engineering team to ensure that all supplied components meet the company’s quality, safety, and performance standards. This role involves coordinating supplier development, managing quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support production goals and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities / Responsabilidades Principales**
- **Supplier Quality Management (SQM)**: Conduct regular process audits of local SMT/PCBA outsourcing partners and manage their quality performance.
- **New Project (Ford) Launch**: Participate from the early stages of the project to lead the development and review of **PFMEA (AIAG-VDA standards)** and the establishment of Control Plans.
- **Part Approval Process**: Manage and verify the **PPAP (Part Production Approval Process)** for new and modified components.
- **SMT Technical Process Control**: Establish quality standards for the entire SMT process (Printing, Mounting, Reflow, AOI, etc.) and monitor the process capability (Cpk) of outsourcing partners.
- **Issue Resolution & Prevention**: Lead root cause analysis using 8D reports when defects occur, implement recurrence prevention measures, and provide technical support for customers.
