ECI is seeking a Staff Accountant who will play an integral role within the controllership function. The position will be a leader in close process for multiple locations and will be involved with preparation of financial statements. This position will report functionally to the Plant Controller
- **In this role, you will**:_
- Lead the month-end closing process including journal entry preparation for multiple locations
- Prepare all the month end reconciliation and account analysis
- Track Capital spending
- Perform ad hoc analysis
- Assist in coordination of deliverables to external auditors
- Work with cross function leaders and provide applicable support when requested
- Maintain records in accordance with company policy
- Other duties as assigned
**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred; in lieu of degree, 5-10+ years of relevant experience required




- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Bilingual (english/spanish)
- Established analytical skills with ability to communicate findings to team
- Experience with integrated ERP Systems
- Some experience with Mexican tax accounting could be a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for decision-making
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
Sueldo: $1.00 - $2.00 la hora
