Summary
Ensure continuity of operations and production quality through the proper execution of equipment maintenance and facility support activities, maintaining safe operating conditions and having the authority to stop processes in the event risks or nonconformities are identified.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Ensure customer and interested-party satisfaction by using strategic planning and a results-oriented approach in safeguarding, utilizing, and managing equipment, resources, and personnel assigned to Maintenance.
- Responsible for coordinating Maintenance Technicians.
- Responsible for maintaining plant equipment, including preventive maintenance and installation of new equipment.
- Responsible for systematic and timely maintenance throughout the plant.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment within the maintenance department work area; clean promptly after maintenance and repair work is completed within the facility.
- Supervise and direct all maintenance department employees, including discipline and performance reviews.




- Must have the ability to report to work on time, follow instructions, interact effectively with coworkers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism.
- Assist with analytical troubleshooting to maintain equipment, facilities, and vehicles.
- Accurately record and document all completed maintenance activities, modifications, and repairs.
- Maintain copies of manuals and drawings in a neat and organized manner; provide updated information to others as necessary.
- Perform company errands and obtain equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
- Make recommendations for changes that would help the facility achieve efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
