Environmental Health & Safety Manager role involves* *in charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.*What a typical day looks like:* *Manage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S;) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with control results in terms of costs, methods, and employees. *Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements. *Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training, and awareness programs. *Oversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. *Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems. *Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). *Inte
