As a Commodity Manager your daily tasks will include managing the cost-effective supply of Production Equipment (CAPEX) in line with company processes based on business requirements. You will collaborate with colleagues from all Siemens Energy Business Areas as well as other collaborators around the globe. With your experience you will play a vital role in developing commodity strategies for sourcing that meet business objectives and ensure the implementation.



As part of the broader Indirect Material organization, you will be embedded in our divers and energized team.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure strategic purchasing for CAPEX investments in Production Equipment
- Negotiate pricing and contracts, implementing innovative strategies and managing claims
- Organize global pooling of requirements to leverage purchasing power across projects
- Optimize the cross-functional investment process and support global investment strategies
- Analyze requirements and markets, build a strong supplier portfolio, and lead lifecycle cost analyses
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and foster a collaborative team environment while managing data across divisions
