Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack .NET Developer to lead the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of legacy VB6 applications while also building modern, scalable solutions using the .NET ecosystem. This role combines hands on development with architectural responsibilities, focusing on the gradual transformation of business-critical systems into modern platforms. You will work closely with architects, senior developers, and cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions. This position plays a key role in enabling digital transformation by bridging legacy and modern technologies, ensuring system stability while driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Legacy Systems Support & Modernization: Analyze, maintain, and support existing VB6 applications. Define and implement strategies for incremental migration, refactoring, or full replacement of legacy modules. Ensure business continuity while modernizing legacy systems.
- Application Development: Design and develop scalable, secure applications using .NET Core / .NET 5/6/7+ and C#. Build and maintain full-stack solutions, with a strong emphasis on backend development and solid frontend capabilities. Develop RESTful APIs, services, and microservices for system integration.
- Architecture & Best Practices: Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions. Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through best practices. Conduct code reviews and promote maintainable, well-documented code.
- DevOps & Collaboration: Support and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 5/6/7+ and C#.
- Hands-on experience maintaining or working with VB6 legacy applications.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in both VB6 and C#.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong frontend development experience (JavaScript frameworks or modern UI technologies).
- Experience with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
- Exposure to modernization strategies (re-platforming, refactoring, microservices).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Experience working in agile environments.
