This role also involves developing practices and procedures to improve control of the department’s activities.Responsibilities:
Coordinate import and export operations staff Coordinate fixed assets personnel activities* Coordinate OEA-CTPAT personnel activities* Support foreign trade projects* Request and obtain government permits* Monitor compliance of digital records/files* Track OEA – CTPAT compliance* Monitor fixed assets compliance* Follow up on Annex 24 / 30 compliance* Audit import and export processesRequirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Customs, International Trade, or a related field* Bilingual (English – Spanish) 2 years of experience in a similar position 3 years of experience in the customs field* Valid visa* Knowledge of imports and exports* Knowledge of Annex 24 and Annex 30* Knowledge of foreign trade* Knowledge of fixed assets* Knowledge of CTPAT and OEA* Knowledge of audits* Knowledge of digital records/files* Knowledge of IMMEX and VAT/IEPS certification* Knowledge of Foreign Trade Law* Knowledge of Customs Law and General Foreign Trade Rules* Knowledge of Zoe system* Team management
