about the role:

this entry-level role is adecuado for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare finance operations. This role will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting month-end close activities specific to healthcare

key responsibilities:

- record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations
- assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
- perform bank reconciliations
- support the processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties
- help maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subledgers
- assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- track and reconcile funding, payoffs,



and servicing entries
- collaborate with the different departments for financial data accuracy

requirements:

- bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (completed)
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in the banking, or financial services industry
- strong understanding of basic accounting principles and gaap
- proficiency in excel and accounting software (e.g., quickbooks, netsuite, etc.)
- attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- willingness to learn healthcare industry regulations and financial workflows
