Position: Production Manager

Responsible for the administration and execution of the strategies defined by the Production Management to fulfill the production programs and continuously improve the manufacturing processes.

Manage the correct administration of human, technical and material resources of the plant.

· This position reports to a Shanghai General Operations Manager

· Automotive industry expertise it´s a must for this position.

· It’s difficult to access to the Plant- for this reason it´s important that the candidate must have her/ his own transportation or another alternative to get to this site.

Application of lean and continuous improvement tools

Good stress resistance, communication, problem solving, customer service, quick fast response Experience minimum 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management within the automotive industry- it will be a plus the Safety Systems experience: Plan,



organize, and direct the manufacturing process to ensure and comply efficient production schedules and output targets are met.

Oversee all production activities IN AB & SW Production Lines.

Leading the SW Production lines.; Supervising Production Supervisor SW.

Administration of personnel according to the needs of the operation

Coordinate the support areas to ensure the production rate.

Ensure production aligns with company goals, deadlines, and customer requirements.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to resolve production issues.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing health and safety standards.

Lead and develop production team members through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

Manage inventory levels, material flow, and equipment utilization to reduce downtime and waste.

Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards.

5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing management within the automotive industry.

Proven experience managing high-volume manufacturing operations in an automotive production environment.

Experience leading multidisciplinary production teams and driving performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production systems.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.

Experience managing KPIs, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and Supply Chain.

Experience in a fast-paced, multicultural, and highly automated manufacturing environment is preferred.
