About This Opportunity This is a foundational role supporting the growth of Samyang Mexico, playing a key part in expanding our presence in the North LATAM region. While this position is posted on the Samyang America careers page, the selected candidate will be employed by the Mexico entity and subject to applicable Mexico employment laws and benefits. Location & Work Model Candidates must currently reside in the Mexico City metropolitan area.

This role will begin remotely and transition to a hybrid work model once our Mexico City office opens.

Position Summary We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Director to lead sales performance and market execution across Mexico, along with assigned Central America and Caribbean markets. This role will work very closely with the LATAM + Canada Business Management Team and play a key role in strengthening distributor partnerships, developing key accounts, and driving sustainable growth across the region.

The Sales

Director will lead day-to-day market execution, hold distributor partners accountable, recommend commercial initiatives, and deliver sustainable business growth, while partnering with regional and executive leadership on broader pricing, investment, contractual, and organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities Commercial ownership & KPIs — Own and deliver assigned Net Sales, volume, gross margin, distribution, forecast accuracy and new-market targets; build annual and quarterly plans by market, channel, customer, distributor and SKU. Distributor leadership — Manage targets, orders, inventory, promotions and issue resolution; use scorecards and regular reviews to improve forecast accuracy, distribution, execution, reporting and compliance. Direct retailer & key account leadership — Build senior-level relationships with major retailers and strategic partners; directly lead or co-lead annual planning, negotiations, listings, pricing, trade terms, launches and promotions alongside distributors while protecting Samyang’s long-term interests.

Route-to-market expansion — Map priority countries, select sustainable entry models, qualify and onboard distributors, and execute practical launch plans covering products, registrations, logistics, pricing and milestones. Forecasting & S&OP; — Own regional sales inputs; review sell-in, sell-out, inventory, pipeline,



promotions and seasonality; explain changes and risks early while coordinating production and shipment timing. Profitable growth — Monitor revenue, gross margin, pricing, trade spend, promotion ROI, logistics impact and distributor economics; recommend improvements to SKU mix, channel focus and commercial terms.

Cross-functional leadership — Align with Marketing, SCM, Planning, Finance, Regulatory, Quality and HQ on activation, supply, compliance, credit, documentation, product needs and market priorities. Reporting & intelligence — Provide concise weekly/monthly/quarterly updates and fact-based business reviews; track competitors, pricing, consumer/channel shifts, inventory, open orders and commercial risks. Team capability — Coach current and future team members; establish clear goals, routines and accountability while building a culture of ownership, speed, transparency and collaboration.

Requirements 10–15+ years of progressive FMCG/CPG sales experience, preferably in food, beverage, ethnic/Asian food, noodles, snacks, grocery or adjacent consumer categories. Proven management of distributors, importers, brokers, wholesalers and/or route-to-market partners in Mexico and/or LATAM. Strong knowledge of Mexico’s retail and channel landscape, including Modern and Traditional Trade, wholesale, ethnic, foodservice, club, convenience and/or e-commerce.

Demonstrated success owning sales and commercial KPIs, building business plans, managing customers and distributors, executing promotions and delivering measurable profitable growth.

Experience with forecasting, demand and order planning, inventory visibility and commercial reporting. Direct account/key account management experience and strong senior-level relationships with major retailers and commercial partners; strong negotiation, communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Fluent





English and Spanish; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; bachelor’s degree; willingness to travel frequently across North LATAM.

Preferred

Korean, Asian, general food, high-growth, challenger or culturally driven consumer brands;

experience working with Korean HQ or another international matrix organization. Launching new LATAM markets and onboarding or transitioning distributors in complex, fast-moving environments. SAP, Power BI, Nielsen/NIQ, Circana, distributor portals or similar systems; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
