Responsibilities
·
- Support MTC for MRO aircraft by coordinating the procurement, movement, and tracking of aircraft parts and materials.
·
- Ensure timely resolution of material shortages through effective planning and coordination.
·
- Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and material status updates within SAP.
·
- Communicate effectively with U.S.-based teams, distribution warehouses, line stations, MRO facilities, and external suppliers.
·
- Manage site-level material shortage activities, including reconciliation and meeting required turnaround deadlines.
·
- Source aircraft parts by ordering from available stock, recalling station spares, checking MRO Master inventory, and procuring from OEMs or approved surplus vendors.
·
- Oversee the Parts RTA process, Over Cap approvals, AOG (Aircraft on Ground) drop-ship activities, and all Repair Order Board (ROB) actions.
·
- Initiate, capture, and submit ROB transactions through the ROB tool.
·
- Update Material Shortage Notifications (MSNs) with current status and coordinate with MRO teams to close shortages upon receipt of materials.
·
- Procure aircraft parts and create MSNs when inventory is unavailable.
·
- Process Removal/Install transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
·
- Order materials from distribution warehouses and external suppliers in accordance with Service Recovery Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
·
- Manage returns of unused inventory ("06 Material") and resolve discrepancies identified in In Transit and Stationary Tracking Reports.
·
- Utilize aircraft technical documentation, including IPC, CMM, ER/A, engineering drawings, and service bulletins, to identify alternate part solutions.
·
- Validate effectivity, alternate manufacturer part numbers (MPNs), and review FAA Form 8130 airworthiness tags.
·
- Receive and stage AA Kits, Prepull (FK1), and Nonroutine (FK2) inventory.
·
- Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training documentation, and quality audits.
·
- Coordinate daily with Service Recovery, ASO, Material Planning, and Component Shop support teams.
·
- Participate in daily production meetings to identify material constraints and recommend solutions to minimize aircraft turnaround time (TAT).
·
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining accurate documentation.
·
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment.
